Waubeka established in 1848 in Ozaukee County is a candidate to become a registered Historic District. Our Non- Profit wants to ensure the charm of this community can be improved and sustain the upcoming 100 years producing a thriving community. With the help of others we hope to raise enough funds to hire professionals to conduct research and create a report to nominate Waubeka as a Historic District.
Waubeka is unique in being untouched by commercial buildings over the past century. To this day brick and mortar and small businesses create the community. It is our hope to ensure Waubeka withstands and thrives over the next century and let being registered as a Historic District a catalyst to improvements and the “great reset” for a Waubeka Revival.
